2. Make a contract with us
2.1 When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
2.2 If the gate/gates are not available, you can still place an order but may take a little longer, the made to order notification sign will be displayed.
2.3 Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your gate/gates may vary slightly from the image shown on the website.
2.4 Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

3. How to place order
3.1 You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. If the gate/gates are not available you can still order but may take a little longer, the availability notice will give you an indication of your delivery time. If you wish to purchase multiple items, please contact us first. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time. If you prefer to order by telephone you can do so by calling 0191 5369596. Please note the gate/gates size is the OPENING/GAP size brick to brick or post to post NOT the physical size of the gate/gates we make allowances for all fittings, which are supplied free.
3.2 The buyer assumes responsibility for the gate/gates being suitable for the purpose for which they are being purchased.
3.3 Delivery charges will be shown prior to you placing your order. Most will be free delivery.
3.4 You will be required to pay for the gate/gates etc in full at the time of ordering.
3.5 We use paypal secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by paypal ,Visa, Mastercard or Delta/Connect through paypal
3.6 Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.
3.7 All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds.
3.8 Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.
3.9 Once your order is complete we will notify you of the dispatch date.
4. Delivery & Carriage Charges
4.1 We can deliver our gate/gates etc. anywhere in mainland Great Britain .We can also deliver to the Highlands/Islands of Scotland, at an additional cost please get in touch with sales on 0191 5369596 .
4.2 We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. A signature will be required unless you specify a safe place to leave the goods if you are not in.
4.3 If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery, if the carriers are able to make the change. This will delay your delivery.
4.4 Please check the goods on delivery - any goods found to be missing or damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or ourselves within two working days of delivery of the items.
4.5 If the goods are lost or damaged please report this to us within two working days from the delivery day.
. Cancellation and returns
You will be unable to cancel any gate/gates etc which will be custom made (made to your specification) once manufacturing has started.
You can cancel your contract on stock gates at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail, or write to us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone. Once we are in receipt of the returned goods (undamaged), which you the customer must arrange, we will get in touch to refund you less original carriage costs.
If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
We reserve the right not to replace any item that has been fitted, as we will deem this acceptance of the goods.
Please be in receipt of gate/gates before employing any fitters etc as we will not be held liable for fitters fees or any other professional trades persons fees due to late, damaged or lost deliveries.
We are not liable for any loss earnings due to late, incorrect or lost deliveries.
We reserve the right to refuse replacements on any damaged items reported to us outside of two working days.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are damaged.
Faulty Goods / Guarantee
6.1 If there is a problem with the goods, please notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. In addition, you must provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
All goods are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty against faulty workmanship subject to the terms and conditions of that warranty.
The manufacturer’s warranty is provided in addition to the rights that the law says you have as a consumer and accordingly, your statutory rights are not affected.
If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received at our warehouse and checked.
The cost of returning goods to us is your responsibility, however on inspection we will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be faulty/damaged.
The products sold on this website have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.
We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of profit or indirect losses. You should therefore not book installation of the gate/gates etc until you have received them and inspected them.
Trade or Business Customers
The following conditions apply to orders placed by Trade or Business Customers.
Claims for missing or damaged items must be made in writing within 2 working days of delivery.
